Studijní obor 6701 T International Security StudiesMaster in International Security Studies is a two-year English-language Master’s degree programme fully accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education. The programme opens perspectives on the most recent development in the area of international security, including the political, military, economic, societal and environmental areas. Students will explore international security issues by applying theoretical concepts of the security, conflict and strategic studies on questions of national and European security in both regional and global context. Through the core and the methodological courses students will gain theoretical tools and develop analytical skills which will allow them to engage in a thorough analysis of the security issues in the programme seminars. A choice of optional courses broadens the opportunities to study various aspects of security on different levels of analysis, from the individual to the level of the international system. The programme offers an excellent stepping stone to start a successful career both in public and private sector, in international institutions and non-profit organizations. Academic supervisor: doc.
